नायं पापो मया कृष्ण युक्त: स्यादनुरोधितुम्‌ । प्राणेन यदुशार्टूल बद्धकक्षेण वाससा,“यदुश्रेष्ठ श्रीकृष्ण! जरासंधने लंगोटसे अपनी कमर खूब कस ली है। यह पापी प्राण रहते मेरे वशमें आनेवाला नहीं जान पड़ता”

naayaṃ pāpo mayā kṛṣṇa yuktaḥ syād anurodhitum | prāṇena yaduśārṭūla baddhakakṣeṇa vāsasā ||

„O Kṛṣṇa, dieser Frevler scheint weder von mir zu bändigen noch zu bewegen zu sein. O Tiger unter den Yadus, er hat sein Hüfttuch fest geschnürt, als sei er entschlossen, bis zum letzten Atemzug zu kämpfen—solange Leben in ihm ist, wird er nicht unter meine Gewalt geraten.“
