Description of Kubera’s Assembly Hall
नानाप्रहरणैरुग्रैर्वातिरिव महाजवै: । वृतः सखायमन्वास्ते सदैव धनदं नूप
nānāpraharaṇair ugrair vātir iva mahājavaiḥ | vṛtaḥ sakhāyam anvāste sadaiva dhanadaṃ nṛpaśreṣṭha ||
Nārada sprach: O Bester der Könige, umgeben von wilden Gefährten, die vielerlei schreckliche Waffen tragen und schnell wie der Wind sind, sitzt er stets dicht bei seinem Freund Dhanada (Kubera), dem Spender des Reichtums.
नारद उवाच
The verse highlights the awe-inspiring power that surrounds divine wealth and authority: Kubera’s presence is not merely opulent but protected and attended by formidable forces, suggesting that prosperity is inseparable from responsibility, order, and guarded power.
Nārada describes a scene in the celestial context of the Sabha narrative: a mighty figure, encircled by swift and fearsome weapon-bearing attendants, continually remains seated near Kubera (Dhanada), emphasizing Kubera’s stature and the formidable company around him.
