Shloka 35

प्रययौँ स महाबाहुर्द्र्ठमायोधनं तदा । कृष्णार्जुनाभ्यां वीराभ्यामनुमन्त्रय तत: प्रियम्‌

prayayau sa mahābāhur dṛḍham āyodhanaṃ tadā | kṛṣṇārjunābhyāṃ vīrābhyām anumantṛya tataḥ priyam ||

Da zog jener Held mit den mächtigen Armen entschlossen in die Schlacht. Nachdem er zuvor das Einverständnis und Wohlwollen der beiden tapferen Krieger, Kṛṣṇa und Arjuna, erbeten hatte, brach er auf, fest auf das gerichtet, was er für recht und lieb hielt.
