आहत्य च यशो दीप्त॑ सुयुद्धेनात्मनो भुवि । विसृज्य शरवर्षाणि प्रताप्य च दिशो दश
āhatya ca yaśo dīptaṁ suyuddhenātmano bhuvi | visṛjya śaravarṣāṇi pratāpya ca diśo daśa
Śalya sprach: „Nachdem er sich auf dieser Erde durch edlen Kampf lodernden Ruhm errungen und Pfeilschauer ausgeschüttet hatte, ließ er seine Kraft in allen zehn Himmelsrichtungen spürbar werden.“
