Transliteration

viprahīṇa-rathāś caiva śaraiḥ parikarṣitāḥ

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: „Der Wagen beraubt und von Pfeilsalven umhergezerrt, gerieten die Krieger in völlige Hilflosigkeit — ein Bild dafür, wie im Krieg Stolz und Rang zusammenbrechen, sobald die Stützen zerschlagen sind.“
