तमिषुं संधितं दृष्टवा सूतपुत्रेण मारिष । विषादं परमं जग्मुः पाण्डवा दीनचेतस:,माननीय नरेश! जब सूतपुत्रने उस बाणका संधान किया, उस समय उसे देखकर समस्त पाण्डव दीनचित्त हो बड़े भारी विषादमें डूब गये

Transliteration

tam iṣuṁ sandhitaṁ dṛṣṭvā sūtaputreṇa māriṣa | viṣādaṁ paramaṁ jagmuḥ pāṇḍavā dīnacetasāḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: „O Ehrwürdiger! Als die Pāṇḍavas sahen, wie der Sohn des Wagenlenkers (Karna) den Pfeil an die Sehne legte, sank ihnen das Herz; tiefste Verzagtheit überkam sie.“
