क्ष्वेडितास्फोटितोकत्क्रुष्टैस्तुमुलं सर्वतो5भवत्‌ | बाहुशब्दैश्व शूराणां कर्णार्जुनसमागमे,कर्ण और अर्जुनके उस संघर्षमें शूरवीरोंके सिंहनाद करने, ताली बजाने, गर्जने और भुजाओंपर ताल ठोकनेसे सब ओर भयानक आवाज गूँज उठी

Transliteration

kṣveḍitāsphoṭitotkatkruṣṭais tumulaṃ sarvato 'bhavat | bāhuśabdaiś ca śūrāṇāṃ karṇārjunasamāgame ||

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: Im Zusammenprall von Karṇa und Arjuna wurde das Schlachtfeld ringsum zum Tumult. Während die Helden wie Löwen brüllten, klatschten, schrien und sich die Arme herausfordernd schlugen, erhob sich überall ein schauriger Lärm.
