तान्‌ वयं प्रतिनृत्याम: पुनर्गौरिति गौरिति । “जो लोग उस दिन कौरवसभामें हमें 'बैल बैल' कहकर खुशीके मारे नाच उठते थे, उन सबको आज बारंबार “बैल-बैल' कहते हुए हम भी प्रसन्नतापूर्वक नृत्य कर रहे हैं ।। ४३ ई || प्रमाणकोट्यां शयनं कालकूटस्य भोजनम्‌

Transliteration

tān vayaṁ pratinṛtyāmaḥ punar gaur iti gaur iti |

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: „Auch wir tanzen nun zur Erwiderung und rufen immer wieder: ‚Ochse! Ochse!‘—und verspotten damit eben jene Männer, die damals in der Versammlung der Kauravas jubelten und tanzten, als sie uns mit demselben Schimpfwort verhöhnten.“
