tataḥ parivṛto vīrair daśabhiḥ pāṇḍavaiḥ

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: Dann, von zehn heldenhaften Pāṇḍava-Kriegern umringt, sah er sich von allen Seiten eingeschlossen—ein Bild, das hervorhebt, wie im Chaos der Schlacht selbst der Mächtige geprüft wird, wenn er auf disziplinierte kollektive Stärke trifft.
