तस्मिन्‌ निपतिते भूमौ भीम: क्रुद्धों विशाम्पते

tasmin nipatite bhūmau bhīmaḥ kruddho viśāmpate

Sañjaya sprach: Als er zu Boden stürzte, geriet Bhīma — zornentbrannt, o Herr der Menschen — in wilde Gegenwehr. Diese Zeile kündet von der Zorneswoge nach dem Sturz eines Kriegers und zeigt, wie Schmerz und Wut weitere Gewalt nähren und die Selbstbeherrschung unter den Forderungen des Dharma im Krieg erproben.
