प्रयच्छ मेदिनीं राज्ञे शक्रायैव हरिरयथा । 'जैसे पूर्वकालमें भगवान् विष्णुने दैत्यों और दानवोंको मारकर यह त्रिलोकी इन्द्रको दे दी थी, उसी प्रकार तुम यह पृथ्वी राजा युधिष्ठिरको सौंप दो
prayaccha medinīṁ rājñe śakrāyaiva harir yathā |
Sañjaya sprach: „Übergib diese Erde König Yudhiṣṭhira—so wie einst Herr Viṣṇu, nachdem er die Daityas und Dānavas erschlagen hatte, die drei Welten Indra schenkte. Ebenso lege die Herrschaft nieder und stelle das Rechtmäßige wieder her.“
