एते द्रवन्ति पठचाला वध्यमाना: शितै: शरै: | कर्णेन भरतश्रेष्ठ पाण्डवानुज्जिहीर्षव:

Transliteration

ete dravanti pañcālā vadhyamānāḥ śitaiḥ śaraiḥ | karṇena bharataśreṣṭha pāṇḍavān ujjihīrṣavaḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: „O Bester der Bhāratas! Diese Pañcāla-Krieger—obwohl sie von Karṇas scharfen Pfeilen niedergestreckt werden—stürmen dennoch voran, entschlossen, die Truppen der Pāṇḍavas zu retten.“
