तथेमां विपुलां सेनां गुप्तां पार्थ त्वयानघ । न शेकुः पार्थिवा: सर्वे चक्षर्भिरपि वीक्षितुम्,“निष्पाप कुन्तीकुमार! तुम जिसकी रक्षा करते हो, उस विशाल सेनाकी ओर सारे राजा आँख उठाकर देख भी नहीं सके हैं
tathemāṁ vipulāṁ senāṁ guptāṁ pārtha tvayānagha | na śekuḥ pārthivāḥ sarve cakṣurbhir api vīkṣitum ||
Sañjaya sprach: „O Pārtha, du Makelloser! Dieses gewaltige Heer, das unter deinem Schutz steht, vermochten alle Könige nicht einmal anzusehen — selbst mit ihren eigenen Augen.“
