अष्टरल्निर्महाबाहुर्व्यूढोरस्क: सुदुर्जय: । अभिमानी च शूरश्व प्रवीर: प्रियदर्शन:
sañjaya uvāca |
aṣṭaralnir mahābāhur vyūḍhoraskaḥ sudurjayaḥ |
abhimānī ca śūraś ca pravīraḥ priyadarśanaḥ |
prayāhi śīghraṃ govinda sūtaputra-jighāṃsayā ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Er ist von mächtigen Armen, breiter Brust, in Schlachtordnung aufgestellt, überaus schwer zu bezwingen — stolz, tapfer, ein vorderster Held und ansehnlich. Zieh schnell aus, o Govinda, mit dem Entschluss, den Sohn des Wagenlenkers zu töten.“
