इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत कर्णपर्वमें संजय-वाक्यविषयक छठा अध्याय पूरा हुआ,संजय उवाच यस्मिन् महास्त्राणि समर्पितानि चित्राणि शुभ्राणि चतुर्विधानि । दिव्यानि राजन विहितानि चैव द्रोणेन वीरे द्विजसत्तमेन
sañjaya uvāca
yasmin mahāstrāṇi samarpitāni citrāṇi śubhrāṇi caturvidhāni |
divyāni rājan vihitāni caiva droṇena vīre dvijasattamena ||
Sañjaya sprach: „O König, in jenem Abschnitt wurden die großen Waffen dargelegt—mannigfaltig und strahlend—von vier Arten; wahrlich göttlicher Natur, und ordnungsgemäß geordnet und gelehrt von Droṇa, dem Helden, dem Besten der Brahmanen.“
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the disciplined transmission of power: even divine weaponry is to be conferred and organized through proper instruction and rule (vihita), underscoring the ethical weight of martial knowledge and the authority of the guru in regulating it.
Sanjaya, reporting to the king, indicates that this section concerns the bestowal/description of mighty and divine weapons—fourfold in type—associated with Drona’s role as the foremost Brahmin-warrior teacher who arranged and imparted them to a heroic warrior.
