इति श्रीमहा भारते कर्णपर्वणि युधिष्छिरं प्रति श्रीकृष्णार्जुनागमे पठडचषष्टितमो< ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत कर्णपर्वमें युधिष्टिरके पास श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनका आगमनविषयक पैंयठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti śrīmahābhārate karṇaparvaṇi yudhiṣṭhiraṃ prati śrīkṛṣṇārjunāgame pañcaṣaṣṭitamo 'dhyāyaḥ |
Sañjaya sprach: „So endet im großen Mahābhārata, im Karṇa-Parva, das fünfundsechzigste Kapitel—über das Eintreffen Śrī Kṛṣṇas und Arjunas vor Yudhiṣṭhira.“ Dieses Schlusskolophon rahmt die Begebenheit als einen entscheidenden Augenblick von Rat und Entschlossenheit inmitten der moralischen Last des Krieges, da die Führer sich wieder vereinen, um Ziel und Verantwortung (Dharma) angesichts von Leid und Pflicht zu festigen.
संजय उवाच
