Description of the Arjuna–Karṇa Engagement and Counsel to Duryodhana
The verse highlights responsible leadership in crisis: swift action taken to reach the rightful leader (Yudhiṣṭhira) for timely guidance and protection. In dharmic terms, urgency is not haste for its own sake, but promptness in service of right counsel and the welfare of one’s side.
Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Kṛṣṇa (Hṛṣīkeśa) quickly travels—drawn by very fast horses—to the place where Yudhiṣṭhira is resting, indicating an immediate need to meet him during the events of the Karṇa Parva.
