अध्याय ६० — कर्णस्य पाञ्चाल-सोमक-निग्रहः
Karna’s Suppression of the Panchala–Somaka Forces
तावकं तु बल॑ दृष्टवा भीमसेनात् पराड्मुखम् । यत्नेन महता राजन् पर्यवस्थापयद् बली,राजन्! आपकी सेनाको भीमसेनके भयसे विमुख हुई देख बलवान् कर्णने बड़े यत्नसे उसे स्थिर किया
tāvakaṁ tu balaṁ dṛṣṭvā bhīmasenāt parāṅmukham | yatnena mahatā rājan paryavasthāpayad balī ||
Sañjaya sprach: O König, als der mächtige Karṇa sah, dass dein Heer aus Furcht vor Bhīmasena zurückwich und sich abwandte, brachte er es mit großer Anstrengung wieder zusammen und stellte es in fester Ordnung auf.
