Sañjaya sprach: O Bester der Bhāratas, als er wagenlos geworden war, ergriff der starkarmige Bhīmasena—lachend, schnell und gewaltig wie der Wind—seine Keule und sprang von jenem vortrefflichen Streitwagen herab.
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya describes Bhīma becoming chariotless, then laughing in defiance, taking up his mace, and leaping down from an excellent chariot—signaling readiness to continue the combat on foot with his signature weapon.
