Educational Q&A

The verse frames protection of the king as a nyāsa—an entrusted deposit—making guardianship a moral obligation. It urges disciplined, collective effort performed without panic or agitation, emphasizing duty carried out with steadiness.

Sañjaya addresses a group and formally hands the king over to them for safekeeping, instructing them to concentrate on his protection and to act confidently and diligently.
