निषघ्नन्नमित्रान् कौन्तेयो यं कर्ण परिपृच्छसि । “कर्ण! तुम जिन्हें बारंबार पूछ रहे थे, वे ही ये कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन शत्रुओंका संहार करते हुए रथके साथ आ पहुँचे। उनके घोड़े श्वेत रंगके हैं, श्रीकृष्ण उनके सारथि हैं और वे कर्मोंके फलकी भाँति तुम्हारी सम्पूर्ण सेनाओंके लिये दुर्निवार्य हैं
niṣaghnann amitrān kaunteyo yaṁ karṇa paripṛcchasi |
Sañjaya sagte: „Karna, der, nach dem du immer wieder gefragt hast—Arjuna, Kuntīs Sohn—ist nun mit seinem Wagen eingetroffen und mäht die Feinde nieder. Seine Rosse sind weiß, Śrī Kṛṣṇa ist sein Wagenlenker, und wie die unausweichliche Frucht der Taten ist er für all deine Heere unaufhaltsam.“
