Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
काक काकेति वाशन्तं निमज्जन्तं महार्णवे । कृपया<5<5दाय हंसस्तं जलक्लिन्न सुदुर्दुशम्
kāka kāketi vāśantaṁ nimajjantaṁ mahārṇave | kṛpayā dāya haṁsas taṁ jalaklinnaṁ sudurduśam ||
Die Krähe rief: „Kāka! Kāka!“, während sie im weiten Ozean versank. Von Mitgefühl bewegt, erbarmte sich ein Schwan des durchnässten, elenden Wesens und kam ihm zu Hilfe—ein Zeichen dafür, dass Barmherzigkeit selbst den Hilflosen und Bedrängten zuteilwerden kann, ungeachtet ihrer Natur.
