Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
प्रदिशध्व॑ यथान्यायं केन हंसा: पताम्यहम् | आज मैं तुमलोगोंके देखते-देखते जब इतनी उड़ानें भरूँगा, उस समय मेरा बल तुम देखोगे। मैं इनमेंसे किसी भी उड़ानसे आकाशमें उड़ सकूँगा। हंसो! तुमलोग यथोचितरूपसे विचार करके बताओ कि “मैं किस उड़ानसे उद्/ूँ?”
pradiśadhvaṁ yathānyāyaṁ kena haṁsāḥ patāmy aham |
Der Rabe sagte: „Entscheidet, wie es sich geziemt, mit welchem Flug ich mich erheben soll. Heute, vor euren eigenen Augen, werde ich mich wieder und wieder in den Himmel schwingen; dann werdet ihr meine Kraft sehen. O Schwäne, nach gebührender Erwägung sagt mir: ‚Mit welchem dieser Flüge soll ich in die Lüfte steigen?‘“
