पुनश्चेदीदृशं॑ वाक््यं मद्रराज वदिष्यसि
punaś ced īdṛśaṃ vākyaṃ madrarāja vadiṣyasi
Karna sagte: „Wenn du, o König von Madra, noch einmal Worte dieser Art sprichst, wiederholst du eine Schmähung, die die Selbstbeherrschung und Würde verletzt, die man von Kriegern mitten in der Schlacht erwartet.“
