कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
दुर्योधन उवाच ततः स तपसा चैव दमेन नियमेन च । पूजोपहारबलिभिहोंममन्त्रपुरस्कृतै:
duryodhana uvāca tataḥ sa tapasā caiva damena niyamena ca | pūjopahārabalibhir homamantrapuraskṛtaiḥ ||
Duryodhana sagte: „Daraufhin vollzog er — durch Askese, Selbstzucht und strenge Gelübde — Verehrung mit Gaben und Opferdarbringungen, wobei er Homa und Mantra-Rezitation an die Spitze stellte.“
