एको निवातकवचानहनद् दिव्यकार्मुक: । एक: किरातरूपेण स्थितं शर्वमयोधयत्,उन्होंने दिव्य धनुष धारण करके अकेले ही निवातकवचोंका संहार कर डाला और किरातरूप धारण करके खड़े हुए महादेवजीके साथ भी अकेले ही युद्ध किया
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca |
eko nivātakavacān ahanad divya-kārmukaḥ |
ekaḥ kirāta-rūpeṇa sthitaṃ śarvam ayodhayat ||
Dhṛtarāṣṭra sprach: „Allein, einen himmlischen Bogen tragend, erschlug er die Nivātakavacas; und allein, in der Gestalt eines Kirāta, kämpfte er sogar mit Śarva (Śiva), der vor ihm stand.“
