Translation

Sañjaya sprach: Die beiden gewaltigen Heere trafen aufeinander und prallten zusammen; mit höchstem Schwung drängten sie vor, um den Sieg zu erringen—wie Ganga und Yamunā, in der Regenzeit zu Fluten angeschwollen, die sich mit reißender Strömung vereinigen.
