The Exploits of Śaineya/Sātyaki amid Encirclement

The verse highlights a wartime ethic of disciplined coordination: valor is not merely individual bravery but also tactical maneuver—turning, surrounding, and restraining the enemy in service of one’s side and duty as a warrior-leader.
Sañjaya reports that additional kings, powerful and battle-hardened, turn back and form resistance on all sides, focusing their effort on stopping the Pañcālas and preventing their advance.
