Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 94: Sātyaki–Sudarśana Yuddha (सात्यकि–सुदर्शन युद्ध)
किरन्निषुगणांस्तीक्ष्णान् स रश्मीनिव भास्कर: । तापयामास तत् सैन्यं देहं व्याधिगणो यथा
kirann iṣugaṇāṁs tīkṣṇān sa raśmīn iva bhāskaraḥ | tāpayāmāsa tat sainyaṁ dehaṁ vyādhigaṇo yathā ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Er goss Salven scharfer Pfeile aus, wie die Sonne ihre Strahlen entsendet, und versengte jenes Heer—so wie ein Schwarm von Krankheiten den Leib quält und verbrennt.“
