समायुक्तो हि कौन्तेयो वासुदेवेन धीमता । सामरानपि लोकांस्त्रीन् हन्यादिति मतिर्मम,“मेरा तो ऐसा विश्वास है कि परम बुद्धिमान् वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्णके साथ रहकर कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन देवताओंसहित तीनों लोकोंको नष्ट कर सकता है
samāyukto hi kaunteyo vāsudevena dhīmatā | sāmārān api lokāṁs trīn hanyād iti matir mama ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Dies ist meine Überzeugung: Wenn Arjuna, der Sohn Kuntīs, mit dem höchst weisen Vāsudeva (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) vereint ist, könnte er sogar die drei Welten samt ihren Göttern vernichten.“
