द्रोणविक्रमदर्शनम् / The Display of Droṇa’s Onslaught and the Debate on Pāṇḍava Regrouping

नानद्यमान: पर्जन्यो मिश्रवातो हिमात्यये । अश्मवर्षमिवावर्षत्‌ परेषां भयमादधत्‌

Sañjaya sprach: Wie eine vom Wind durchsetzte Wolke am Ende der kalten Jahreszeit gewaltig dröhnt und gleichsam einen Steinhagel niedergehen lässt, so ließ Droṇācārya, den Feinden Furcht einflößend, einen Pfeilhagel auf sie herabregnen.
