- १३६ ॥- द्रोणपर्वकी सम्पूर्ण एलोक-संख्या ९९१७८ श्रवण-महिमा स्वधीते यत् फल वेदे तदस्मिन्नपि पर्वणि । क्षत्रियाणामभीरूणां युक्तमत्र महद् यश:
drauṇaparvaki sampūrṇa śloka-saṅkhyā 99178 | śravaṇa-mahimā svadhīte yat phalaṃ vede tad asminn api parvaṇi | kṣatriyāṇām abhīrūṇāṃ yuktam atra mahad yaśaḥ ||
Im Droṇa Parva beträgt die Gesamtzahl der Ślokas 99.178. Das Verdienst und die reinigende Kraft, die man durch das Hören (dieses Abschnitts) erlangt, sind derselbe Lohn, den der Veda dem zuspricht, der ihn rechtmäßig studiert hat; eben dieser Lohn findet sich auch in diesem Parva.
