तस्यापि च वधोपायं वक्ष्यामि तव पाण्डव । पाण्डुनन्दन! युद्धमें दुर्योधनका भी वध भीमसेन करेंगे। उसके वधका उपाय भी मैं तुम्हें बताऊँगा ।। वर्धते तुमुलस्त्वेष शब्द: परचमूं प्रति
tasyāpi ca vadhōpāyaṁ vakṣyāmi tava pāṇḍava | pāṇḍunandana! yuddhe duryodhanasyāpi vadhaṁ bhīmasenaḥ kariṣyati | tasya vadhasyōpāyam api ahaṃ tvāṁ vaktum icchāmi || vardhate tumulas tv eṣa śabdaḥ paracamūṃ prati ||
Vāyu sprach: „O Pāṇḍava, ich will dir auch das Mittel nennen, durch das er getötet werden kann. O Sohn des Pāṇḍu — auf dem Schlachtfeld wird Bhīmasena Duryodhana wahrhaftig den Tod bringen; und ich werde dir die List erklären, durch die diese Tötung vollbracht wird. Schon jetzt erhebt sich ein wilder, tobender Schlachtruf gegen das feindliche Heer.“
