दुर्योधन–द्रोणसंवादः
Arjuna-vīrya-prasaṃśā and renewed battle formation
फल चाशु प्रयच्छन्ति बीजमुप्तमृताविव । 'शूरवीर वर्षाकालके मेघोंकी तरह सदा गरजते हैं और ठीक ऋतुमें बोये हुए बीजके समान शीघ्र ही फल भी देते हैं
phalaṁ cāśu prayacchanti bījam uptam ṛtāv iva |
Sañjaya sprach: „Sie gewähren rasch den Ertrag — wie ein Samen, der zur rechten Jahreszeit gesät wird und bald Frucht trägt.“ Im ethischen Rahmen der Kriegserzählung preist diese Zeile die verlässliche Wirksamkeit wahrer Tapferkeit: Ist das Bemühen rechtzeitig und richtig gesetzt, so bleibt sein Ergebnis nicht aus.
