दुर्योधन–द्रोणसंवादः

Arjuna-vīrya-prasaṃśā and renewed battle formation

पंचालान्‌ केकयांश्वैव वृष्णीश्वापि समागतान्‌ | बाणौचै: शकलीकृत्य तव दास्यामि मेदिनीम्‌,मैं अपने बाणसमूहोंद्वारा रणभूमिमें पधारे हुए पांचालों, केकयों और वृष्णिवंशियोंके भी टुकड़े-टुकड़े करके यह सारी पृथ्वी तुम्हें दे ूँगा

pañcālān kekayāṁś caiva vṛṣṇīṁś cāpi samāgatān | bāṇaughaiḥ śakalīkṛtya tava dāsyāmi medinīm ||

Karna sprach: „Mit Salven meiner Pfeile werde ich die versammelten Pañcālas, Kekayas und selbst die Vṛṣṇis in Stücke schlagen; und dann werde ich dir diese ganze Erde übergeben.“
