Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Sañjaya Dialogue: Description of the Night Engagement of Karṇa and Ghaṭotkaca
एतद् व्रतं महाबाहो त्वया सह कृतं मया । तथैतन्मम कौन्तेय यथा तव न संशय:
etad vrataṁ mahābāho tvayā saha kṛtaṁ mayā | tathaitan mama kaunteya yathā tava na saṁśayaḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: „O du mit den mächtigen Armen, dieses Gelübde habe ich zusammen mit dir auf mich genommen. O Sohn der Kuntī, für mich gilt es genau so wie für dich — daran soll kein Zweifel sein.“
