त्वदृते पुरुषव्याप्र य एतद् योधयेद् बलम् | 'पुरुषसिंह! मैं बहुत सोचनेपर भी तीनों लोकोंमें कहीं तुम्हारे सिवा किसी दूसरे पुरुषको ऐसा नहीं देखता, जो इस सेनाके साथ युद्ध कर सके
tvadṛte puruṣavyāghra ya etad yodhayet balam |
Sañjaya sprach: „O Tiger unter den Männern, selbst nach langem Nachdenken sehe ich in den drei Welten keinen anderen Mann außer dir, der diesem Heer standhalten und gegen es kämpfen könnte.“
