Duryodhana–Karna Dialogue on Vyūha-bheda and Daiva
तान् दृष्टवा पततस्तूर्ण द्रोणचापच्युतान् शरान् । अवारयच्छरैरेव तावद्धिनिशितैमचे,द्रोणाचार्यके धनुषसे छूटे हुए उन बाणोंको शीघ्र ही अपने ऊपर आते देख वृहत्क्षत्रने उतने ही तीखे बाणोंद्वारा उन्हें युद्धस्थलमें काट गिराया
tān dṛṣṭvā patatas tūrṇaṃ droṇacāpacyutān śarān | avārayac charair eva tāvad dhi niśitair acet ||
Sañjaya sprach: Als er jene Pfeile sah, die rasch von Droṇas Bogen gelöst auf ihn zuschossen, wehrte Vṛhatkṣatra sie sogleich ab und hieb sie auf dem Schlachtfeld mit gleicher Zahl messerscharfer Geschosse nieder.
