हेमदण्डोच्छ्ितच्छत्रे बहुशस्त्रपरिच्छदे । योजयामास विधिवद्धेमभाण्डविभूषितान्
hemadaṇḍocchritacchatre bahuśastraparicchade | yojayāmāsa vidhivaddhemabhāṇḍavibhūṣitān ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Mit einem Sonnenschirm, hoch auf einem goldenen Stab erhoben, und mit reichlich Waffen und Gerät versehen, spannte und ordnete er sie vorschriftsgemäß an und schmückte sie mit goldenen Geschirren—ein Bild königlicher Pracht inmitten der strengen Ordnung des Krieges.“
