यथोपदिष्टमाचार्य: कार्य: पजचगुणो रथ: । “इस संग्राममें नाना प्रकारके आयुधोंका उसी प्रकार संग्रह कर लेना चाहिये, जैसा कि आचार्योने उपदेश किया है। रथपर रखी जानेवाली युद्धसामग्री पहलेसे पाँचगुनी कर देनी चाहिये

Transliteration

yathopadiṣṭam ācāryaḥ kāryaḥ pañcaguṇo rathaḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: „Der Wagen soll genau so hergerichtet werden, wie es die Lehrer angewiesen haben. In dieser Schlacht sind die verschiedenen Waffen entsprechend zu sammeln und zu ordnen, und der Vorrat an Kampfgerät auf dem Wagen ist im Voraus zu verfünffachen.“
