कुशल्यहं कुशलिनं समासाद्य धनंजयम्‌ | हते जयद्रथे राजन्‌ पुनरेष्यामि तेडन्तिकम्‌,“राजन! मैं कुशलपूर्वक रहकर सकुशल अर्जुनके पास पहुँच जाऊँगा और जयद्रथके मारे जानेपर उनके साथ ही आपके पास लौट आऊँगा

Transliteration

kuśalyahaṁ kuśalinaṁ samāsādya dhanañjayam | hate jayadrathe rājan punareṣyāmi te ’ntikam ||

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: „O König, ich werde mich sicher bewahren und Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) wohlbehalten erreichen; und nachdem Jayadratha erschlagen ist, werde ich wieder in deine Nähe zurückkehren — zusammen mit ihm.“
