भीष्मस्य मध्याह्नयुद्धवर्णनम् / Mid-day Battle Description: Bhīṣma Engaged by the Pāñcālas
तलैश्नैवाथ निस्त्रिंशैर्बाहुभिश्न सुसंस्थितै: । विवरं प्राप्प चान्योन्यमनयन् यमसादनम्,अवसर पाकर वे थप्पड़ों, तलवारों तथा सुदृढ़ भुजाओंद्वारा भी एक-दूसरेको यमलोक पहुँचा देते थे
talaiś caivātha nistriṁśair bāhubhiś ca susaṁsthitaiḥ | vivaraṁ prāpya cānyonyam anayan yamasādanam ||
Sañjaya sprach: Dann, mit offenen Handflächen und mit Schwertern, und mit ihren mächtigen, fest gegründeten Armen, sobald sie eine Lücke in der Deckung des anderen fanden, trieben sie einander in Yamas Wohnstatt.
