स ताड्यमानो बहुभि: शरै: संनतपर्वभि: । न विव्यथे राक्षसेन्द्रो भिद्यमान इवाचल:
sa tāḍyamāno bahubhiḥ śaraiḥ sannata-parvabhiḥ | na vivyathe rākṣasendro bhidyamāna ivācalaḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: Obwohl er von vielen Pfeilen mit gebogenen Gelenken getroffen wurde, wankte der Herr der Rākṣasas—Ghaṭotkaca—nicht und empfand keine Bedrängnis, feststehend wie ein Berg, der gespalten wird und doch unbewegt bleibt.
