भीष्मवधाय प्रयाणम् — The Advance toward Bhīṣma and Counter-Engagements

संस्मृत्य मन्त्रितं पूर्व निग्रहे भीमकर्मण: । निश्चयं परमं कृत्वा निग्रहीतुं प्रचक्रमु:

saṁsmṛtya mantritaṁ pūrvaṁ nigrahe bhīmakarmaṇaḥ | niścayaṁ paramaṁ kṛtvā nigrahītuṁ pracakramuḥ ||

Sañjaya sprach: Eingedenk des früheren Rates, Bhīma zu bezwingen—dessen Taten im Kampf furchtbar waren—fassten sie einen festen, endgültigen Entschluss und begannen den Versuch, ihn zu packen und festzuhalten.
