अन्यांश्व शतशो बाणान् प्रेषयामास पार्षते । दुर्योधनहितार्थाय भर्तृपिण्डमनुस्मरन्,उसके बाद दुर्योधनके हितके लिये स्वामीके अन्नका विचार करते हुए धृष्टद्युम्नपर और भी सैकड़ों बाण चलाये
anyāṁś ca śataśo bāṇān preṣayāmāsa pārṣate | duryodhana-hitārthāya bhartṛ-piṇḍam anusmaran ||
Sañjaya sprach: Danach, zum Wohl Duryodhanas, eingedenk der Speise, die er von seinem Herrn empfangen hatte—und der daraus erwachsenen Verpflichtung—sandte er noch Hunderte von Pfeilen auf Dhṛṣṭadyumna.
