Bhīmasena–Duryodhana Engagement at Sunset
अभ्यवर्तन्त संक्रुद्धा: समरे शाल्वकेकयान् । सात्यकिश्रेकितानश्न सौभद्रश्न महारथ:,सात्यकि, चेकितान और महारथी अभिमन्युने समरभूमिमें कुपित होकर शाल्वों तथा केकयोंपर धावा किया

abhyavartanta saṅkruddhāḥ samare śālvakekayān |
sātyakiś cekitānaś ca saubhadraś ca mahārathaḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: Vom Zorn entflammt mitten in der Schlacht stürmten Sātyaki, Cekitāna und der große Wagenkämpfer Saubhadra (Abhimanyu) vor und griffen die Śālvas und Kekayas an. Der Vers zeigt, wie krodha (Zorn) sich auf dem Schlachtfeld in entschlossenes Handeln verwandelt, wo Tapferkeit und Pflicht im direkten Zusammenprall mit den feindlichen Reihen Gestalt annehmen.
