Arjuna’s Advance toward Bhīṣma; The Gāṇḍīva’s Signal and the Armies’ Convergence (भीष्माभिमुखगमनम् — गाण्डीवनिर्घोष-ध्वजवर्णनम्)

मिषतां सर्वसैन्यानामनयद्‌ यमसादनम्‌ । इसके बाद उस महासमरमें भीमसेनने सम्पूर्ण सेनाओंके देखते-देखते श्षुरप्रसे मारकर सुलोचनको भी यमलोकका अतिथि बना दिया

miṣatāṁ sarvasainyānām anayad yamasādanam |

Sañjaya sprach: Vor den Augen aller versammelten Heere sandte er ihn in Yamas Wohnstatt—er tötete ihn offen mitten in der großen Schlacht. Danach, in jenem gewaltigen Kampf, erschlug Bhimasena, während alle zusahen, auch Sulochana mit scharfem Stahl und machte ihn zum Gast der Welt Yamas.
