शुशुभाते तदा तौ तु शैनेयकुरुपुड़वी । अमावास्यां गतौ यद्वत् सोमसूर्यो नभस्तले,उस अवसरपर (एक रथमें बैठे हुए) सात्यकि और अभिमन्यु उसी प्रकार शोभा पा रहे थे, जैसे अमावास्या तिथिको आकाशमें सूर्य और चन्द्रमा एक ही स्थानमें सुशोभित होते हैं
śuśubhāte tadā tau tu śaineya-kuru-puṅgavau | amāvāsyāṁ gatau yadvat soma-sūryau nabhas-tale ||
Sañjaya sprach: Da erglänzten jene beiden — Śaineya (Sātyaki) und Abhimanyu, der Vornehmste unter den Kurus — gemeinsam auf einem einzigen Wagen, wie Mond und Sonne, die in der Neumondnacht in derselben Himmelsgegend erscheinen.
