Saubhadra under Concentrated Assault; Pārṣata’s Intervention and Escalation
तामस्य विशिखैस्तूर्ण पातयामास भारत । रथादनवरूढस्य तदद्भुतमिवाभवत्
tāmasya viśikhaiḥ tūrṇaṁ pātayāmāsa bhārata | rathād anavarūḍhasya tad adbhutam ivābhavat ||
Sañjaya sprach: „O Bhārata, Droṇa traf ihn sogleich mit scharfen Pfeilen und ließ seine Waffe fallen, noch ehe er ganz vom Wagen herabgestiegen war. Es erschien beinahe wundersam—eine erstaunliche Demonstration kriegerischer Meisterschaft mitten in der Schlacht.“
