चेकितानो<पि संरब्ध: सुशर्माणं महाहवे | प्राच्छादयत् तमिषुभिर्महामेघ इवाचलम्,तब चेकितानने भी रोषमें भरकर उस महायुद्धमें अपने बाणोंकी वर्षासे सुशर्माको उसी प्रकार ढक दिया, जैसे महामेघ जलकी वर्षासे पर्वतको आच्छादित कर देता है
Cekitāno 'pi saṃrabdhaḥ Suśarmāṇaṃ mahāhave | prācchādayat tam iṣubhir mahāmegha ivācalam ||
Sañjaya sprach: Auch Cekitāna, von Zorn entflammt, bedeckte in jener großen Schlacht Suśarmā mit einem dichten Pfeilschauer, wie eine mächtige Regenwolke einen Berg mit ihrem Guss verhüllt.
